Oh, baby! The goal of our Infant Room are to provide a comforting and safe environment. Our teachers are here to meet your baby’s physical needs, as well as nurture their ever-changing motor, language, and cognitive development.
Toddlers
This classroom is full of curious and energetic toddlers learning and discovering through active play! We use a combination of large and small group activities to meet Ohio’s Early Learning & Development Standards, while also allowing the children to explore interest areas—We believe our toddlers learn best while having fun!
Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program
Our Universal Pre-Kindergarten classrooms are designed to prepare children to take the big step to Kindergarten by building and enhancing skills in language, reading, math, science, music, and the arts—as well as continuing to nurture social/emotional development. Each day is filled with project-based lessons, including large and small group activities that include hands-on projects and learning center exploration. Kindergarten, here we come!
Younger Toddlers
This room has mobile infants and our young toddlers. They are always on the go! This classroom allows more room and play equipment designed to build those large muscle groups that are developing. We look forward to exploring with your child!
Junior Preschool
Our Jr. Preschool room is comprised of older toddlers preparing to make the transition to Preschool. Much like the toddler classroom, we encourage the children to explore and learn through active play. We are also beginning to focus more on small group activities and projects, and spend more time doing large group activities, such as circle time. We work to ensure that the children are cognitively, socially, and emotionally ready for the Preschool environment.
School Age Classes (Kindergarten-10 years)
In addition to providing transportation to and from certain schools in the Parma City School District, our school age teachers provide help with homework and create extension activities to support the students’ specific needs with their school work. During summer, the center provides a summer camp program that takes the kids on daily off-site field trips including to the movies, pool days, nature centers and parks, and weekly swimming.
